Road Accident - Claim Compensation 100%

Submitted by danborlan

Almost every driver has gone through or at least witnessed a road accident in his/her lifetime. I know this is a sad thing, but it’s the reality. So what makes the road vehicles the most dangerous means of transportation? Is it the human error? Is it something else? This article is meant to explain at least some of these questions.

Human error directly accounts for almost 60% of the road accidents and is indirectly involved in 90%. On the other hand, mechanical failures are responsible for 2-3% of the accidents and environmental factors for 4-5%. These are incriminating numbers, but what are the real facts that hide behind them? Are people that much to blame for all the accidents?

Well, the answer is yes and no. The truth is that driving, although at first glimpse doesn’t seem so, involves a lot of concentration and there are many operations done by our brains in a short period of time.

Let’s say you are driving on the highway. You are bombarded with many pieces of information that your brain needs to process, like the road ahead, other vehicles, pedestrians, road signs, etc. In the meantime, if you have you car stereo turned on, you have also auditory distractions such as the music you are listening, or the radio channel. If you add to that a cell phone conversation or thoughts that go through your head like the plans for that day, you have a recipe that often leads to a road accident.

Now, like it weren’t enough, there can be also other external factors that add make those situations worse. Let’s suppose that all these pieces of information need to be processed very fast – that’s when you are speeding. Or, there is a dense fog outside, which renders incomplete feedback from the outside environment. There is also the possibility that your brain is incapacitated by the use of alcohol.

I hope you are beginning to see the big picture here. That’s why it’s always recommended to drive in reasonable speed limits, not to drink before or while driving, and not to be tired. These are things that slow the brain down to a point where it can’t react to the outside impulses anymore, not to mention your physical inability if a fast reflex is needed.

Although it’s a thing that I wished no one had to go through, it happens. If this is the case, you should know that there is always the possibility of requesting a road accident claim. For those of you who don’t already know, this is a compensation for the losses you suffered in that accident. You have to request it from the party that injured you.

Unfortunately, sometimes you can do everything right and still be involved in a road accident. This is the most unpleasant situation. You may be driving on a highway at a reasonable speed, focused on the road ahead, and the next second you may find yourself in an accident that wasn’t your fault. If you are lucky enough, you may escape with nothing but minor scratches to your car, but the worst-case scenario could go well beyond that.

This money compensation for your losses is directly proportional with what you have lost. It can cover the damage done to your car, injuries you suffered, and even more. There are a few good companies that can help you with the claiming process at no cost. It isn’t a short process, especially when the injuries are severe, but it’s worth your while. Usually this process can go from a few weeks to a few months, time needed to gather up good evidence for a strong case that can prove you are not to blame for the accident.

The process starts with finding a good company that has a high rate of success. Then, the evidence is gathered up. It is better that you try to collect as much data from the place of the incident as possible, it can be very useful. In the meantime, you will have to go to a medic expert who will assess the extent of your injuries and the period of time in which the accident is going to affect you. This has to be done on a regular basis.

The quest of finding a good specialist is not that hard. There are many good companies that have very well trained attorneys who will gladly help you on a no win no fee basis only. Either a work accident or an automobile accident, you name it, it doesn’t really matter as long as you are able to prove that the accident was entirely another party’s fault. Still, there’s a psychological factor that make accident victims who are entitled for a claim decide not to pursue the legal actions required. This is either because they are afraid of the repercussions at the workplace, or the simply try to avoid going to Court. The fact of the matter is that unless a very serious accident happened, your case will probably not have to go to Court.

So you are involved in an accident which, I must remind you, is not your fault. That’s the most important condition that makes you eligible for compensation. So, what do you do? First of all, you have to tell yourself: OK, I have been injured; I must get some sort of compensation for that. After all, it is my life we are talking about. Don’t think about what others would say. It’s very easy for other people to judge when they are not in your shoes. You must be very motivated because it is probably going to be a process that will last for several weeks, if not months.

Finally, all the evidence is gathered up to make up a strong case. Usually, this doesn’t go to Court, as an arrangement between the parties is made. The Court option is still available though, when the injuries you suffered are extreme and you want to get the biggest road accident compensation as possible. Never a desirable thing, a road accident can still happen, case in which you have to know your options!
